Devotional
As a Christian entrepreneur, you may find yourself walking a delicate line between faith and ambition.
You have big dreams.
You want to grow your business. You feel called to create, serve, and build something meaningful.
But at the same time, you wonder…Am I striving too much?
Am I trusting God enough?
Can I really pursue success and still stay rooted in Him?
“Here’s the truth: God is not against your ambition—He gave it to you.”
Your desire to grow, to impact lives, and to build something profitable isn’t something to feel guilty about. It’s something to surrender.
The tension doesn’t come from having ambition…It comes from trying to carry it without God.
When we chase success without Him, we feel overwhelmed, anxious, and constantly striving.
But when we invite Him into our business, everything shifts.
Ambition becomes purpose-driven.
Goals become God-led.
And success becomes sustainable and peaceful.
You don’t have to choose between being faithful and being successful.
You can:
Set big goals and trust God’s timing
Work diligently and rest in His provision
Build a business and stay deeply rooted in your faith
The key is this:
Surrender the outcome, but stay obedient in the process.
God is far more concerned with who you’re becoming than how fast your business is growing.
So today, instead of striving harder…Invite Him deeper.
Reflection
Have I been relying more on my own strength or God’s guidance in my business?
What would it look like to truly surrender my goals to Him?
Where is God asking me to trust Him more?
Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for the dreams and desires You’ve placed in my heart.Help me to pursue them in a way that honors You.
Teach me to balance ambition with surrender, hard work with rest, and goals with trust in Your plan.
I don’t want to build anything without You.
Guide my steps, align my heart, and establish the work of my hands.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
You don’t have to keep striving, overthinking, or doing business alone.
In just 10 days, you can go from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain… to grounded, peaceful, and confident in God’s direction.
